Edge computing vs. cloud computing? Nope!

Critique the lists of the leading edge computing providers and you will notice most important community cloud computing vendors on that list. And but the ink is hardly dry on tech press posts that pitted edge towards cloud, predicting that edge computing would disrupt cloud computing. 

Why did that under no circumstances transpire?

As I tried to demonstrate practically five a long time ago: “Edge computing and cloud computing are two extremely distinctive matters. 1 does not replace the other. The cloud suppliers observed this early on.
